1. Introduction
Welcome to Pacelab Intervals and Pacelab Timer ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our mobile applications.
By using our apps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our apps.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Pacelab Intervals
Pacelab Intervals stores the following data locally on your device:
- Workout data: Custom workouts, exercise libraries, workout history
- Progress tracking: Completed workouts, timestamps, duration
- User preferences: App settings, display preferences
When you share a workout, a share code is generated and stored on our servers. The workout data associated with the share code is stored to enable sharing functionality. You may optionally provide a name or identifier in the "created_by" field, but this is not required.
If you choose to make a workout public, it will be visible in our public workout library and accessible to all users. Public workouts include the workout title, description, category, and structure, but not your personal information unless you choose to include it in the "created_by" field. You can change the public/private setting at any time.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: The majority of your data (workouts, exercises, timer configurations, history) is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share a workout.
Cloud Storage: When you share a workout, the workout data is stored on our servers to enable sharing. Share codes and associated workout data are stored for as long as the share code is active, or until 2 years of inactivity. You can request deletion of a shared workout by contacting us with the share code.
Data Retention: Local data is stored on your device until you delete the app or clear app data. Shared workouts are retained on our servers as described above. Support requests are retained for 1 year after resolution. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized, retained for up to 2 years.
Security: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Our apps may use the following third-party services:
- App Stores: Our apps are distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Please refer to their privacy policies for information about data they collect.
- Analytics: We may use anonymous analytics tools to understand app usage patterns. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
We do not integrate with social media platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers.
